Blade 3?

Dark Horizons reports: during an appearance on CBS's "The Early Show", Wesley Snipes talked a bit about the possibility of a third film: ""It's on. It's on. The response for Blade II has been so great, and the movie's not even out yet. But everybody's talking about doing it. Three's a charm". Does he have reservations like he did after the first film about doing a second? "No, not this time. Because our first attempt at the film was a noble attempt, but there were a lot of things we didn't really understand. We didn't really know what the world was going to be like". The first two film's writer David Goyer is set for the third and "has indicated he would like to complete a trilogy with a movie set in the future where vampires rule the world". Director Guillermo del Toro might also return.

Terminator 3

Nick Stahl ("In the Bedroom", "Disturbing Behavior") has been confirmed for the John Connor role in T3 according to Reuters.

Buffy News

Anthony Stewart Head's character Giles will cease to be a regular character and will appear in only a select number of episodes each season so that Anthony can do more work on other projects in the UK. He is scheduled to work like this for one more season and then he may quit entirely. The Watcher spin off is still being negotiated, with nothing finalized.

Alien 5

Ridley Scott has been talking a lot about doing a fifth movie in the dying franchise but only under certain conditions.

"I'm seriously mulling it over. I think it would be a lot of fun, but the most important thing is to get the story right. I say we should go back to where the alien creatures were first found and explain how they were created. No one has ever explained why. I always figured that a battleship carrying bio-mechanical organisms that could be weapons was sent into space with some space jockey who didn't last long".

ABC News has confirmed that David Duchovny will return for the series finale of the "X-Files".

The Exorcist Prequel (From Dark Horizons)

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Ryan Phillippe is in final negotiations to join John Frankenheimer's untitled prequel to "The Exorcist". Shooting is set to begin this Spring and Phillippe, who plays Father William Francis whose described as "a young priest who does not understand how Merrin can lose faith in God", will join the already cast Liam Neeson and Billy Crawford in the post-WW2 African-set tale.

Predator 3

"Predator 3" has been greenlit for a June 1st 2003 release, the story following "American marines going to a planet where Predators are staging an invasion of Earth" Get the story at CountingDown.

Mulder Returns...Maybe

David Duchovny may make a final appearance on the "X-Files" after all.

Series creator Chris Carter had this to say, "David was open to it and now the legal and logistical complication of trying to get it done comes. I just have to make the show as interesting as possible, not just for David but for the fans".

Duchovny has been in a major legal battle with the Fox Network over his share of revenues from the series.

The Hollywood Reporter tells us that the USA Network is going ahead with the Stephen King novel turned TV-Series with a 22 episode commitment.

Exorcist Prequel News

From Dark Horizons - 19-year-old Phillippino actor/musician Billy Crawford has scored a lead role in the upcoming prequel to "The Exorcist".
The film is scheduled to begin shooting this Summer in the UK and Spain under the helm of Director John Frankenheimer. The script, originally
penned by William Wisher and then re-written by novelist Caleb Carr, is apparently complete.
